ReactJS Meetup Leipzig: Modern React Build-Setup

Learn more about React, TypeScript and Parcel

The ReactJS Meetup Leipzig group organizes meetups several times a year on relevant topics around React and TypeScript. The goal of the group is to share knowledge and learn together in hacks, live-coding sessions and talks. The meetups are aimed at all kinds of skill levels, from beginner to absolute expert, and everybody is invited to bring in ideas and best practices.

In the next React meetup on October 23, our jambitee Santo Pfingsten will give a talk about Modern React Build-Setup. He will teach you how to set up a flexible zero-configuration build environment without Create-React-App. The talk covers Parcel Setup, TypeScript plus React, Styling & Components, Production Build, Asset imports (SCSS, YAML, Images, Fonts) and Code-Splitting. It will be on a beginner level, but you should at least be familiar with NPM and JS in general.

Santo is a software engineer at jambit in Leipzig and has a lot of experience with React, TypeScript and Parcel. Her also published a “ToiletPaper” article about the question: What is JSX/TSX?
