Tatevik Abgaryan is a Senior Software Engineer at jambit’s Yerevan office in Armenia. Discover why, even though she’s a devoted tea drinker, she values the coffee culture at jambit, how social media has become an indispensable part of her life, and what surprising experience she had during her first week at jambit. Curious to learn more? Find out here.

1. How do you drink your coffee?

I don’t, though I usually reply positively to the question “Coffee?”! I’m a tea person. But honestly, I love anything that brings people together for a good chat, whether it’s over coffee, tea, or even a cookie!

2. What is your job role at jambit?

I’m a Senior Software Engineer currently working on the Audi project, where my responsibilities include developing new features, maintaining and enhancing our systems, and monitoring the running environments to ensure everything operates smoothly.

3. What has been your favorite moment at jambit so far?

Gayane’s husband’s surprise for her! It was my first week at jambit, and everyone came together to help him organize it. I ended up recording the whole thing, and it gave me such a warm first impression of the team. Also, our team-building event at Port88 was super fun — tons of team games, laughter, and a chance to see how we all work together outside of the office.

4. Which application you can't live without?
Hmm... I might be a different person without social media apps. They’ve connected me with so many people who’ve made a huge difference in my life. So, at this point, I can’t imagine living without Instagram or Telegram. There was also a time when Facebook was my lifeline.

5. What does your typical workday at jambit look like?
It starts with a team coffee (you know my coffee situation by now), followed by meetings where I start dreaming about lunch. Once we finally get through the meetings, we’re rewarded with lunch. After eating too much, a bit of a yard hangout is a must to fight the post-lunch sleepiness. Then, it’s back to work for a few hours until I need a break — either a quick walk outside, another “coffee” with someone, or a round of foosball. Eventually, I work until my husband calls to take me home.

6. Where can people find you when you’re not working?
Lately, home is the first place to check! I spend a lot of time either by myself or with my husband. If I’m not at home, you might find me hanging out with friends at Beatles Pub or Bear Academy, where I drink beer just as I drink coffee.
