Deep learning and aspect based sentiment analysis with machine learning
With our Meetup group "where innovation works" we at jambit organize several meetups per year on all kind of topics in the field of software development at our jambit office in Stuttgart. In two to three presentations per meetup, mostly held by jambitees, we deal with various technologies and trend topics. In our next Meetup on November 6th, the focus will be on artificial intelligence.
In the first talk, our jambitee Dr. Wiltrud Kessler will speak about "aspect-based sentiment analysis with machine learning". Not only the direction of the opinion (positive or negative) is interesting in reviews, but also what the opinion refers to. This is called "aspect" in sentiment analysis. In a machine learning system, the challenge is to identify these aspects within the text. In her lecture Wiltrud also answers the questions of how to approach this, what to consider and which difficulties arise.
The second presentation comes from jambitee Beate Rothmund. She will explain what deep learning is and how it works. Using a sample application, she will explain her approach and show how to use the ever increasing amount of data with deep learning.
