2023 - jambit founders move from management to the advisory board

Peter F. Fellinger and Markus Hartinger created the groundwork for the success of the software service provider when they founded jambit in 1999. After more than 23 years, the founders say goodbye to the management and hand over their office to Franz Haßlberger and Thomas Rottach.

2022 - New office in Efurt

With the new office centrally located in Erfurt, jambit expands its individual software solution offer in the heart of Thuringia. Again, centrally located directly on the Anger close to main station and Krämerbrücke.

2021 - New office in Yerevan in Armenia

jambit goes international: Since May 2021, Armenian developers are supporting jambit's projects from various industries out of Yerevan. Once again, this jambit office is very centrally located in the city center and offers an open and communicative environment.

2018 - New office in Leipzig

Welcome to jambit in Leipzig! In the heart of the city center, jambit is opening a new development office on 280 square meters. The software developer supports exciting software projects and drives the digital transformation of our customers.

2018 - jambit officially awarded as "Great Place to Work"

Right at the first try jambit is named as one of the "Best Employers 2018" – in Germany, in the industry competition ITK and in the state of Bavaria. Thank's to the independent Great Place to Work Institute confirming our internal mood barometer of the jambitees.

2017 - Opening of a new office in Stuttgart

Now, the delicious jambit-coffee can be tried in Stuttgart as well: jambit opens an own office in the Stuttgart Engineering Park (STEP)! This allows us to cooperate more closely with our customers in this region and to develop further interesting customer relationships in diverse industries.

2012 - Foundation of the affiliated company HUML

After several years of experience in the field of car connectivity, Markus Hartinger and Peter Fellinger founded an affiliated company specialized in this area. HUML establishes itself quickly as one of the world’s leading companies for smartphone integration and connectivity technologies. As member of the Car Connectivity Consortium, HUML is part of a strong, global network of innovation and software experts.

2008 - Apprenticeships @ jambit: Promotion of IT rookies

At jambit, the first two apprentices begin their training as IT specialists in the fields of system integration and application development. They complete their trainings successfully and get a fulltime job at jambit. Since then, jambit has trained further IT-passionate young people every year.

1999 - Foundation of the jambit Software Development & Management GmbH

On December 23rd, 1999, Markus Hartinger and Peter Fellinger found the jambit Software Development & Management GmbH fully financed from their own resources. They start with only two more employees in a small office in Munich. Now it is all about settling down in the booming New Economy!
