  • BMW ConnectedDrive is an intelligent network of information, communication and driver assistance systems inside and outside of the vehicle
  • Location-based services are at the heart of the BMW Online mobile Internet portal – drivers receive all the information they may need along their route or at their destination
  • Realization of the BMW Online functional services, which are offered by BMW Online on the Internet portal or vehicle portal and which provide the customer with a direct functional benefit
  • Support in the migration of existing data from the previous service provider, totally new development of existing services and realization of new use cases
  • Both existing (WML display) and new vehicles (HTML display) are supported
  • The driver receives access to content and services from, among others, Google, AFP, ADAC, Telegate, Navteq, Meteomedia, Infobolsa, ViaMichelin, Mecomo, Sycada, Herold
  • Iterative-incremental approach following scrum in a 10-person team
  • Technologies: Java and JEE, Web Services, XML and XSLT, XHTML and CSS, WML, JavaScript, Maven
