Latest technology and security issues at the focus of ELIV-Marketplace
On October 19-20, 2016, the management and sales team of jambit’s automotive division visited the ELIV-Marketplace in Baden-Baden. Two days, everything at the specialist congress revolved around connected and automated driving.
In various expert speeches, issues such as latest sensor technologies, “over the air” software transfers, security architectures or big data analytics were presented and discussed.
Additionally, political and social aspects of autonomous driving were addressed. “Within the next years, we will see the impact of autonomous driving on society and if it will be accepted.”, says Kathrin Weber, Sales Manager at jambit. “On the one hand, it promises gains in mobility and time, on the other hand there are still unresolved issues such as machine ethics or liability in the event of damage. It was exciting to discuss these aspects at the ELIV-Marketplace as well.”
