Databases
MySQL
The open source database MySQL meanwhile has evolved to a de facto standard for many internet applications. Within the recent release it can be replicated, has views, trigger, stored procedures etc. and can be applied with Linux, Windows and Mac OS.
MS SQL
In some projects we also apply the database family from Microsoft. Therefore we also have the corresponding knowledge.
DB2
Within system environments shaped by IBM products, DB2 is included into jambit projects.
Oracle RDBMS
In projects which have a high estimated demand for performance, demanding a good scalability or, on customer demand, we put emphasis on the market leader in rational databases. The Oracle product family amend the sole databases on demand by large scale systems and tools with regard to application server, work flow management and data analysis.
LDAP
The LDAP directory service has found its ways into many companies and with it close to centralized LDAP server. We have the experience and know-how for developing software systems and integrating the role- and rights- concepts for these applications based on this standard.
XML DB
XML based database systems come into play with an intense XML usage to reduce the transformation process from rational mappings to XML and vice versa. In such a case we utilize XML enabled databases like Oracle or native XML databases like Tamino.
Database Server
When the focus comes to scaling of database systems, the jambit experts are in demand. Clustering from MySQL up to Oracle RDBMS can be accomplished by us.
Performance Optimization
A factor which can not be underestimated when immediate help is in demand in running projects, respectively in completed ones. Especially when realized that the amount of data exceeds the expectations, the task is the performance optimization of database systems. This is a science of its own which can achieve a high acceleration factor and desired side effects like quality optimization. Even in this scenario - we have the right know-how at hand.
OpenGIS
Many modern applications and services, especially in the web 2.0 environment, with location based services, navigation and beyond these are based on standards and specifications of OpenGIS. If you aim for "geo-enabling" of the internet, then jambit is the right choice for you.
