The Quest
We have long been searching for the legendary jambit plantation as we were eager to enjoy „our own“ coffee. According to undisclosed sources, jambit, the name we
chose for our company, was supposed to be the best coffee plantation on the Indonesian island of Java.
The search was difficult, but we never gave up hope. Only when we realized that
in addition to the name of jambit as a phonetic translation there was also
the translation jampit and/or djampit, we were able to achieve a breakthrough and
located jambit’s coordinates. By supporting us with maps, the German Embassy
in Jakarta also
played a major role in helping us find the matching plantation.
We wasted neither time nor efforts and immediately ordered a coffee bag of hand roasted beans from the jambit plantation. The first imported 'jambit coffee bag' can be admired at
jambit’s business premises in Munich.
